So this must mean that at God's heart is one that cares for the poor - more than I could possibly ever care for them. Why does it seem, then, that God cannot possibly be interacting with such an unjust, cruel world? My experience of observing the world's tragedy contradicts my faith in the Bible, which claims to hold a few of God's thoughts... which is more accurate? My experience? This is very limited and comes with all my honed perspectives... Or Scripture? This is always up for debate among scholars and good and bad people alike... It's been used for so many bad reasons and so many good... Hmmm... just a thought...
